Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SEOBolt ("the Service"), available at seobolt.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SEOBolt is a self-hosted SEO platform that provides site auditing, rank tracking, backlink monitoring, keyword research, and related SEO tools. The Service is offered on a freemium model with paid subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

You may register using email/password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through LemonSqueezy. All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal. Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to crawl sites you do not own or have authorization to audit; (b) attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage quotas; (c) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (d) resell access without a Business plan.

6. API & MCP Usage

API access is governed by your plan's rate limits (60 requests/minute). API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that violate these terms.

7. Data & Content

You retain ownership of all data you submit. We do not claim ownership of your crawl results, projects, or configurations. We may delete data associated with inactive free accounts after 12 months of inactivity.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SEOBolt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
