Free SEO tools / ChatGPT Visibility Checker
This tool checks whether ChatGPT's crawlers can reach and read your site. It does not query ChatGPT and cannot promise that you will be cited or shown. It looks at robots.txt rules for OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User and GPTBot, fetches your homepage with their published user agents, and checks noindex, canonical, sitemap, llms.txt, Organization schema and the title and description. It ends with 5 prompts you can paste into ChatGPT to see your real visibility yourself.

OpenAI says sites opted out of OAI-SearchBot are not shown in ChatGPT search answers, and recommends allowing OAI-SearchBot in robots.txt and allowing requests from its published IP ranges. Beyond access, there is no switch: whether a page is shown depends on ChatGPT's ranking, which no tool can see.
No. It never queries ChatGPT. The five prompts at the end of the report are for you to paste into ChatGPT (with search on) in fresh chats and repeat a few times, because answers vary between runs.
No. OpenAI documents GPTBot (model training) and OAI-SearchBot (search) as independent robots.txt settings.
A firewall, CDN or bot-protection rule is returning an error or challenge to those user agents. Allow OpenAI's crawlers in that product's bot settings. Because the test runs from our own IP, confirm in your firewall log what the real crawler receives.
Adoption of llms.txt is not confirmed by the major AI search providers. The checker reports whether the file exists but does not count it as a requirement.
